2010 Media Summit

This years 2010 Media Summit is very exciting.  It is a chance for students in the Communication Studies Department to meet industry professionals.  It is where networking starts and it can help you get an idea of where you want to take your own career.

New Digital Media is something that is changing the Communication world, how it will affect you and the industry are all things that will be discussed at the Media Summit.  It is a time when you can really find answers for those questions like where are the industries heading and how you can be part of them.

The internet has created and taken away jobs that used to be so well engraved into our society.  It is obvious that things like print media are definitely on the way out.  What is coming next is something that the Media Summit may be able to answer for you.

The Media Summit will be held on October 14th, 2010.  There will be many events on campus including a Panel discussion with Media professional in the Sheldon Ballroom.  Also a Career Connector meeting will be held to start your networking in the communication field.

Please take advantage of these opportunities
